1st Reign - Video/Action in Goldenrod Hideout
The feed opens up on a slightly jaundiced eye, wild and a little bloodshot. It twitches unnaturally, then squints in glee as the hand holding the Pokègear pulls away, revealing a maturely handsome man in a newly acquired Rocket outfit, stroking his goatee thoughtfully. He poses for the camera, admiring his image in the eye's reflection.
"My, don't you look absolutely riveting, sir. Black suits you… Though that's more than I can say for this place..."
Discord glances around, eyes swiveling around appraisingly, as if selecting which things to keep and which to spruce up a bit. It’s clear that it’s largely disposed to the latter; the room behind him is a depressingly grey little hole, and it is clear that despite the man's seemingly constant gleeful grin that Discord is more than slightly perturbed by things. He glances below-camera, eyes scanning quickly.
"Pokègear...yadda yadda connections....something something make friends, oh please, why do something so positively droll...pah!" A small booklet goes flying past the camera, shedding pages like new snow, one of which lands on his nose. Raised eyebrow and licked lips; within seconds he is chewing thoughtfully.
"Hm. Even paper tastes differently here...How delightfully…tasteless. It's no cotton candy, but it will do. Oh fine, what do <i>you</i> want?”
“Sol.”
The camera spins on a quietly sitting Absol, wearing the closest ‘Orly’ expression that a Pokèmon is likely to achieve. It has a slim black bandanna around its head emblazoned with a violently red ‘R’. A scoff from off camera, followed by a flying paper ball (which the Absol naturally dodges).
“Oh like you haven’t.”

You idiot! Do you have any idea what you've just done? You just broadcast yourself in uniform to all of Johto! Now everyone knows who you are! Everyone! How do you expect to get anything done in this place when you’ll be easily recognized?
And why are you eating that? What’s wrong with you? That isn’t food! Go to the cafeteria if you want food!
Explain yourssself! Now! And there had better be a good reason for your bizarre behavior!

He raises an eyebrow at the enraged figure, feeling around for his customary sunglasses and is slightly upset to not find them in the standard set of Rocket gear.
"Well, hello to you as well, sir! It is a pleasure to meet you, I'm Discord." He bows gracefully and overdramatically before the camera.
"But goodness, you seem rather grim. It's rather...suiting. [He skips lightly over the rest of his tirade due to lack of interest] But did I hear you say something about this place being called "Johto"? That's a start, to be sure. Not Equestria?
[Video] Sorry Discord, he pretty much yells at everyone
[Yeah, Discord. He can tell when people aren’t paying attention to him. Especially since it happens all the time.]
And yessss, you’re in Johto! Not Equestria, wherever that is!
[He pauses his ranting to try and remember where he’s heard the word Equestria from. Wait a second…]
And if you’re from this Equestria, you had better not start yelling every sssingle sentence like that annoying woman who said she was from there!

He chuckles, twirling his goatee nonchalantly in lieu of sunglasses.
Johto...Non-native...so there are others like him around too? And like me? Where do I sign up, and why wasn't I invited!?
Discord straightens up suddenly to full attention, hand snapping to his forehead and drooping to cover his eyes at the same time in the most dignified salute possible for someone who really doesn't take the speaker seriously in the slightest.
"I happen to know this particular po-erh, woman! As Sir Cobra can clearly attest I am nothing like that strange....person? Yes. Person! Furthermore mon commandant, I happen to wish upon this particular pony the most delectable brands of chaos and unhappiness possible."
Grin.
"Permission to come aboard, Commander!"

Sssso, you want to spread misery and chaos? Go ahead! Just don’t get yourself arrested!
[He doesn’t really care what the Grunts do so long as they don’t broadcast themselves in full uniform to all of Johto while eating paper. Or other things that could lead to getting caught. Nor does he care about the pony thing. He's gotten into arguments about how people can't be ponies before, and he just won't bother with it this time.]

Discord currently has the smiles of a child with a liberal touch of melodramatic insanity playing in his eyes. A very happy former-draconequus indeed. And a curious one, at that.
"So....sir...as the ranking officer for this place, perhaps you might be a pal and explain to me my new dastardly duties? You lot certainly are disorganized; how am I supposed to take 'wait for further instructions'?"
[He has absolutely no problem with said disorganization, but it seems the best way to wriggle information out of this strange new ally is to cater to his obviously militaristic sensibilities. And if it's one thing that Discord will not allow again, it is to be caught defenseless due to a lack of knowledge. This is HIS game to enjoy, after all.]

“…come now Discord, where’s the fun in that? There is no chaos to be had in minor thievery! Petty theft is unbecoming of you! Chaos, madness, misery, shall we. Bigger! Better! Time to jazz up this ‘Johto’!”
[Btw, are there any Rocket-only channels I should be aware of? For group heists and things on a large scale for contacting others, such things.]

[He won't say much more. After the recent restructuring, he's much more wary of publicly criticizing the higher ups.]
And like I said, you're free to do whatever you want on your own time.
{OOC: I'm not sure if there's a private Rocket channel on the Gear since the entire group got overhauled not too long ago.}

He grins in only the way that dragons do. Only not, because he isn't a dragon anymore. Sucks, that. But for now, he feigns a certain glum resignation, though he doesn't bother at hiding the glee he feels at being unleashed upon the world again.
"Oh, how boring. The bosses get all the fun little toys, and we get left with the scraps. Very well, I'm prepared to face my fate. In the meantime...there's havoc to be wreaked and misery to sow!"
[OOC: I don't suppose that would be influenced by the fact that he -is- a higher-up now, eh. XD And I suppose I'll be exploring the Route just as Discord is. Thanks anyway!]

"One more thing, mon general, if you please! This....two weeks training for new recruits posh. Serious business, that. Though, wouldn't hands-on training be more useful? Why not stir things up and forgo this nonsense entirely? Why not have enterprising young...things...venture forth and explore!" [Translation: Who stays inside and studies! I wanna go out and play!]

If you have any complaints, I'd sssuggest keeping them to yourself. The higher ups haven't reacted well to disssenting opinions in the past.
