2nd Reign - Video/Action for Goldenrod City

[The feed opens up to a smartly-dressed man in a casual pinstripe outfit. Something might seem a little weird about him, especially about how his eyes seem to be analyzing everything around him, but you've never seen a happier weirdo, at least.]

"Hello, dearest Johto...What new surprises do you have in store for me today?" [And what can I do to thoroughly mess them up?]

"Sol. Sol. Ab-sol." An Absol begins tugging at the the man's sleeve, struggling vaguely in the direction of a large, friendly-looking building with "Pokè" on the outside. To no avail; Discord has found his target. He rips his arm away from Dissent, leaving a small tear of the material wedged between its teeth, and strides lazily towards a nearby diner. Oh yeah, did I mention the smirk? Big one. REALLY big.

"What better way to greet the new than to grab a bite to eat at its own expense?"

[Johto certainly is beginning to turn out to be a strange place, isn't it? Here's Discord, wandering and scheming like a good little draconequus, and suddenly he's met with a girl with the longest hair he's ever seen. Well, apart from that poor Manehattanite stallion...but he's beginning to enjoy all of these new ideas. He tries to wave her attention and begins walking in her direction, with Dissent trailing warily behind. His thoughts? SO. MUCH. HAIR.]

"Oh my little pony! Miss! Helloooooo!"

[She's not a pony, so she doesn't react to that. She does react to the "Miss" and turns around. She doesn't recognize him, or his voice, so she's a little wary of this man.]

[He beams at the golden-haired youth, striding confidently to stand over her. Even Dissent, still giving his habitual growl, seems rather curious about the intensely shiny hair, and seems a hop skip and a jump from poking it. This, Discord notices, and draws a slightly surprised eyebrow out of him. But come now Discord dearest, where are your manners? Greet your guest!]

He bows jovially, still beaming at the sunlit girl. Forget appearances, this mass of unexpected sights is doing wonders for his mood.

"Why, hello there! Forgive my interruption, but I simply MUST ask! Your hair is simply magical! How did you get it so long?" [And moreover, have you ever tried tripping people with it? :D]

[She doesn't have a problem with Dissent playing with her hair. It wouldn't be the first time a pokemon curled up in it.]

[Well, that would make sense. By extension, Discord is inexplicably somewhat put out by such an answer. Whatever, order really can't spoil his mood much right now. Dissent comes and bumps her hair curiously with his horn. He still doesn't know quite what to make of all of it, or moreover how she really gets around with it all.]

[Discord cocks his head, on the same wavelength as his Pokèmon, but soon disregards the train of thought. Who would he be to disapprove something not making sense? Not to mention how in-stride she's taking the question.]

"Oh, I'm sorry. Having such long hair is the norm for this area, is it? I'm new here; the name's Discord." [He grins; go ahead and say yes. You'd make his day.]

Oh, no. I've never seen someone with hair as long as mine! Everyone else cuts their hair!

Oh, it's nice to meet you, Discord! My name's Rapunzel!

[His name is weird... but so are many others.]

[Even Dissent looks up at her curiously, but this is clearly not as important as its investigation regarding her hair. Discord stands there, head cocked yet again, but remembers himself and offers her his hand like the gentleman he is. Her name may be weird, but so are many others.]

"Might I say, it is a pleasure to meet you." [He coughs.]

"Have you been here long, hmm? I find myself a bit lost in all of...this." [He gestures vaguely towards, well, everything.]

Oh, uh... My name is Rapunzel.

[She's more than willing to shake his hand!]

I know! This city is so big!

[instead of being overwhelmed with it, she seems excited about it.]

I've only been here for a couple of months, but there's so much to see!

[Taken aback from this personality about-face, he seems only the more interested in her. Let's go ahead and stoke the fire, shall we. He smiles, clearly quite amused.]

"Why, aren't you an excitable one. And here I thought I was out of my element. Surely you've seen cities at similar to this place...."

[She actually gets told that she's rather excitable quite often, and as such doesn't think much of it. It's the last comment that gets her attention.]

Oh, no! I've never seen a city this big before!

[Especially since Goldenrod is the largest city in Johto, that's saying something.]
